Anthem’s New Westside Park

Anthem’s New Westside Park ground breaking ceremonial is scheduled at 10:00 AM on January 7, 2016.  This new park will feature two multi-use sports fields (without lights), a half basketball court, a playground area, leisure games, ramada, restroom building, parking lot, sidewalks/pathways and landscaping on the ten-acre property.  The price to build is 2.1 million and will be built by the Haydon Building Corp.  There is also 260K for additional cost towards for permits and other cost.

Who pays for the Anthem’s New Westside Park?

The complex design encompasses land owned by three separate partners—Parkside HOA, EPCOR, and the Anthem Community Council.  Funding to design and build this proposed park would come from the Enhancement Fund.  For more information click on this link.

About Anthem Arizona

Anthem was developed by Del Webb in 1999 as a master-planned community in the foothills approximately 34 miles north of downtown Phoenix.  Anthem has been described as one of the best places to raise a family by Parenting magazine and one of the best family friendly neighborhoods in the Phoenix area.  Anthem is well known for the year round activities, primarily geared towards families. We have a total of nine post-tension hard courts for your enjoyment. These beautiful courts are located at the Persimmon Club facility, including a stadium court.

Persimmon Bar & Grille

The Persimmon Bar & Grille offers a classic ambience with spectacular views of the 18th fairway and is a perfect setting for watching Arizona’s beautiful desert sunsets. The menu provides variety, a contemporary flair and memorable sophistication, and the wine list and liquor selections appeal to a wide variety of tastes. Services and facilities at this clubhouse are designed with the goal and spirit of providing our Members with the enjoyment of an inviting yet unpretentious setting.

Ironwood Grille

The Ironwood Grille offers a relaxed and casual place to eat, drink and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow Members, neighbors and friends. The Grille Room, which was opened in May of 2006, has an open and airy feel, and the outside patio overlooks the Ironwood lawn and the sun-splashed mountains of the Sonora Desert. The Ironwood menu provides a contemporary flair applied to traditional clubhouse favorites. The casual atmosphere and friendly service is what Members of Anthem Golf & Country Club enjoy most about the Ironwood Grille.

The fitness clubs at Anthem Golf & Country Club offer state-of-the art equipment and wide variety of programs and talented fitness professionals to help you meet your personal fitness goals. Gary served as a Field Engineer and Sales Manager building businesses for companies in the US, Asia, Europe and South America. “It was an exciting time in my life” says Gary. “It was a great time to be in the tech fi eld.” A job transfer to Phoenix in 2001 included a marriage, a home, kids, and a desire for a career with less travel and more home-time. Family infl uence is powerful, and in 2004, Gary was introduced to the Real Estate profession by his Mother, a successful Realtor in the valley. He became licensed and subsequently became the Designated Broker of one of the top Real Estate companies in Anthem AZ. Connecting the dots between high tech and real estate, it’s easy to see how Gary’s analytical background, his experience and passion for negotiation and contracts plus love of numbers converge to create a powerful ally when representing a buyer or a seller. Add to that, years of people management experience and an overriding desire to win now you’ve got the reason why Gary Drew lands in the top 3% of his profession year after year.
